Keyboard w/Mounted LED Display

We were assigned the task of coming up with a "Controller" that would be able to assist people with Hearing Impairment when playing video games. One of the key aspects of this project was that the design needed to be able to work with any existing game without the need for additional software/mods (excluding the device's own firmware).
The final product is a hypothetical/conceptual design created entirely within Illustrator as Vector Art (not including the colored lights on the display which were painted on in Photoshop).
